Costa del Sol Property Prices are expected to continue grow in 2018. The prices have been rising steadily for some time on the Costa del Sol, and I believe this tendency will continue into 2018.
There is high demand for second-home buyers, attracted by the quality lifestyle of this region, and the excellent variety in choice of homes, areas and prices. Although there has not been a dramatic increase in prices, it has been steady. For the last 13 quarters, the property prices are continually going up. They have increased 1,9% compared to the previous quarter and a 6.7% in relation to the same quarter in 2016. Prices are responding to a stable demand.
Other factors that are influencing this growth:
- The Spanish economy is expected to expand by 3.1%
- Unemployment is decreasing
- Low-interest rates, the experts believe that financing conditions will remain relatively cheap for several years.

All this is reflected in how strongly the property sector in Spain has rebounded, and with construction activity rising but housing supply still tight, it shows the healthy state of the market right now.
