Alma Real Estepona is a boutique building of just six residences on Calle Real, in the heart of Estepona’s historic centre, fifty metres from the sea. Designed by Málaga practice Gallego y Mota Arquitectos with interiors by Fusión y Fuga, it brings a sculptural contemporary façade to one of the most emblematic streets on the Costa del Sol.
Key Features
This 1 Bed Apartment for sale in Alma Real Estepona is on the second floor. It’s designed as a retreat within the rhythm of the historic centre. Light enters in a controlled way, which gives the home a settled, even atmosphere throughout the day. Proportion does most of the work here. The architecture supports the way you live in the space without announcing itself.
The building offers several configurations. Alba and Brisa are studios on the first and second floors, Luz and Calma are one bedroom homes, and Marea and Horizonte occupy the third floor with the option to extend into the roof space. Adjoining residences can be acquired together: Calma can be combined with Brisa to form a two bedroom home of 113.07 m², and the two upper residences together make a four bedroom duplex penthouse.
Life here runs on the rhythm of the old town. Morning coffee on a quiet street, a walk along the promenade, evenings shaped by warm light and the presence of the sea. Colourful façades, flowers and small local cafés fill streets that are closed to traffic and genuinely lived in all year. The beach, the restaurants, the galleries and daily life itself are all on foot. Residents also share a courtyard within the building, which keeps the feel of a private address rather than a block of flats.
To be confirmed
You’ll be on Calle Real, the pedestrian street that has been the spine of Estepona’s old quarter for centuries and one of the most carefully restored historic centres on the Mediterranean coast. The beach is fifty metres away, so a morning swim is a two-minute walk. Supermarkets, pharmacies, cafés and the weekly market are all within the neighbourhood, and the Boulevard Park and seafront promenade start at the end of the street. Estepona’s marina, with its waterfront restaurants and sailing, is a short drive, and golfers have Estepona Golf, Valle Romano and the courses of the New Golden Mile all close by.
Getting around is straightforward. Marbella is 27 km, around 25 minutes by car, and Puerto Banús a little less. Sotogrande is 25 km in the other direction, and Gibraltar with its airport is 48 km, roughly 40 minutes. Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is 86 km, under an hour on the AP-7.
For a buyer who wants an address inside a real Andalusian town, with the sea at the end of the street and everything else on foot, this is a rare opportunity in a building of only six homes.
