The area: San Roque Club: Golf, Sea and a Quiet International Community

San Roque Club covers 340 acres of Mediterranean hillside between Marbella and Gibraltar. The Old Course was designed by Dave Thomas in 1990 and later reworked by Seve Ballesteros, and it has hosted the Ryder Cup teams and the Spanish Open. The New Course opened in 2002. Valderrama and Real Club de Sotogrande are minutes away, which is why most owners here bought for the golf. Behind the estate lie cork oak woods and the Los Alcornocales natural park, with walking trails through Pinar del Rey.

The beach at La Alcaidesa is around 10 minutes away, with its dunes and views of the Rock and the African coast.
